How do I start a youth competitive baseball team?

In Ohio we have Park and Recreation Department, start there.

Get together a fairly small grounp of interested aldult individuals or couples (parents), and put together the ideas, the goals, the cumulative knowledge of baseball, of the local youth, and of the basic direction of the plan. Once agreed and settled I'd recommend writing up a proposal, as these things usually take cooperation and clearance from the town or city officals. Perhaps a mayor or town clerk or what-not... Perhaps your area holds town or city meetings? It would most likely be delt with well through something of the kind. In any case, good luck and I hope my suggestions prove helpful to yourself and the local youth.
