In Dixie youth baseball does anyone know what a buy out is?

we are having allstar tournaments beginning tomorrow and we were supposed to play on saturday but they said we had a buyout and we won't be playing on saturday instead we will play on monday and if i understood right it means that we will automaticlly advance to round 2 of the tournaments. i have no clue what this means if anyone has an idea a little info would be appreciated

What I think someone was probably saying is that your team is getting a "bye" out of the first round. A "bye" just means that you automatically advance to the next round without having to play the game.

Just like in the NFL, the top two teams in each conference get a first-round bye when the playoffs begin.

the tearm buy out is old it is like saying you payed the ump to win the game...in this case the other team musn't have been able to have gotten enough players... so its basically a buyout

you dont have to play the first game.
