Is winning in youth sports important, for example little league or middle school?

I don't think so. Having fun is way more important than winning. Kids will have their whole adult lives to be focused and serious. Why hurry that along?

No because you do not make any money unless your parents or the team pays you or who ever

well im 12 years old im on a soccer team competetive team and if we do really good we go up to like proffesoinal level or we gwt bought by other teams sp yea for me its important to win. oh yea also i get chicks all the time and $20 for each goal.

yes it is because it builds self confidence, but it's hard not to stress it too much where people have the win at all costs attitude.

Somewhat yes. I say this because you dont want kids to leave the sport because they dont find it fun anymore cause all they do is lose. On the other hand u just want kids to have fun.
