we've seen this before. the yankees always get star after star- Giambi, A rod, abreu, damon, and now it'll be bonds. they still wont win anything without good pitching. both in the starting rotation and in the bullpen.

Well I think that pitchers will have to pitch to Barry Bonds AND A-Rod because the yankees line up has all great hitters and if they add bonds. They're lineup would probably be. 1. CF Johnny Damon 2. SS Derek Jeter 3. Either RF Bobby Abreu or DH or LF Barry Bonds. 4. 3B A-Rod 5. LF or DH Hediki Matsui 6. C Jorge Posada 7. 1B Jason Giambi 8. 2B Robinson Cano and finally 9.RF Melky Cabrera or possibly Bobby Abreu Also situations where you basically have to walk Bonds or A-Rod cause if there's runners on second and third 1 out with Bonds or A-Rod up chances are your going to walk them to set-up a double play. Well the second half of your question I think the Yanks might not repeat 3 titles in a row because even with all the offence their old pitchers are a problem. I heard there's been like 15 pitchers that started a game this year. Also old pitchers are going to retire soon like Rivera and Clemons maybe even Petite.

bonds ain't going no where but to the angles. he lives in hollywood and loves the LA area. he won't go to the yanks unless a rod is there and even that is questionable because of his age, knee problems, he won't go there BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER.
